Disagree with this and why…
I do not believe that people are born with an sexual orientation. I personally feel as if it is learned and developed once the person gets older and can decide their sexual preference. I also do not think that many people know really who they are or are interested in until they get older and start learning and understanding who they are and who they like. This leads to the second question, I do not think that sexual orientation is easily measured it is something that is decided and not so narrow.
I do not believe that sexual behavior should be the means by which sexual orientation is measured. People may experiment or have sexual relations with someone of the same sex does not necessarily mean they are gay or bisexual- I personally think that they may be experimenting to see what they like. I do not think that sexual orientation is something that can be easily measured.
From the Gallup poll, I learned that from 2012 to 2017 more men than women identified as part of the LGBT community. It also suggests how the older one is the less likely they identify as part of the LGBT community, but millennials are increasingly identifying as part of the LGBT community. Therefore, it makes me think that the more they learn and understand themselves they can identify as part of the LGBT community.
